Bowls
Today, dog bowls are not only functional. They are colorful, made of different materials, and can fit perfectly into your interior.
One for water, the other for food. Dog bowls are probably the first thing a person wants to buy when they are planning to get a new furry friend. Today, you can get a relatively large number of them on the market from different materials, so the offer seems almost endless.
However, before you start choosing a bowl according to your favorite color, consider several parameters. First, we recommend looking at the volume. If you have a pug or a Chihuahua at home, nothing will happen if they get half a liter of extra water. A problem could arise if you have a Labrador at home and you buy him a 160 ml dog bowl. When buying, use a simple rule – 50 ml per 1 kilogram of weight (a 20 kg dog should drink about 1000 ml of water).
The second thing you could consider when choosing a dog bowl is the material. The most common is definitely the classic stainless steel bowl, which is lightweight and suits most dogs. However, if you have an active licker at home who tends to drag the food bowl all over the apartment, give preference to those that are heavier and have anti-slip measures (for example, those made of bamboo and melamine).
We also recommend taking a look at bowl mats. Nothing can withstand spilled water and food residue better than mats that are easy to clean and won't leak anywhere.
