ALAVIS™ Joint Nutrition contains Glucosamine Sulfate and Chondroitin Sulfate, which are substances belonging to the group of so-called Glycosaminoglycans (GAGs). These substances form a natural part of articular cartilage and joint synovial fluid. Their depletion results in a deterioration of joint function and acceleration of the development of arthritic changes. ALAVIS™ Joint Nutrition readily absorbs and incorporates these substances into damaged cartilage. Their sufficient supply ensures the long-term proper function of cartilage, its strength, elasticity and resistance. The mechanism of action of these substances is common and consists in a chondroprotective action. The active substances are present in the necessary quantities and in a concentrated form.
